A few quick notes: Paint smell: Completely normal with fresh giclée prints—it'll fade within a few days in open air. Rolled image-side-in: We do this to protect the printed surface during shipping. Image-side-out risks scratches and scuffs, especially over long distances. We know it adds a step when stretching, but it keeps the print pristine. Original size (42 x 59"): We'd love to offer that scale, but sourcing high-resolution files at museum dimensions isn't always feasible. If we ever secure one for this piece, you'll be the first to know. The painting's whereabouts: We're as frustrated as you are. The deaccessioning story is heartbreaking, and unfortunately we have no insider knowledge. If it ever resurfaces publicly, we hope it's soon—and that you're around to see it. Regarding the timeline, we’d like to clarify for future reference that the '2-3 day' option refers to the courier's transit time after the package leaves our studio. Since your order was placed over the weekend, production started on Monday. As stated on our product page, crafting a high-quality print takes 1-3 business days before it ships. Once handed to DHL, the package was indeed delivered within 2 business days. We appreciate your patience and hope you enjoy your art!
